Geographical
coverage
A local records centre for
North Wales would cover 6 counties:
- Anglesey
- Conwy
- Denbighshire
- Gwynedd
- Flintshire
- Wrexham
Its catchment would be
administered by 7 authorities: 6 local councils and Snowdonia National Park
Authority
It would border the existing
catchment of the Powys and Brecon Beacons LRC, and that of the developing LRC
for West Wales. Periodic administrative
boundary changes would have to be accommodated via collaboration between
adjacent Welsh LRCs. A North Wales centre would also
border the catchments of LRCs for Shropshire and Cheshire.
